AA's POV

You meet thousands of people, and none of them really mean anything to you. And then you meet one person, and your life is changed forever.-- Eto yung isang quotes na nabasa ko kanina sa Instagram and i can't help but to think Warren..

Kumbaga, sa inaraw-araw na ginawa ng Diyos, ibat-ibang tao ang pwedeng na-encounter natin. May mga taong tumagal at nanatili sa tabi mo, pero meron din na, dumaan lamang. Tulad sa isang istorya, kung ikaw ang bida sa storya mo, may mga taong main casts at sila ang mga main stay. Pero meron din naman na napadaan lang, kumbaga ekstra pero nagbigay aral din naman sayo. Kagaya ni Ren, hindi man tumagal ang pagsasama namin pero may puwang siya dito sa puso ko na kahit kailan man ay walang makakapalit.

We're now having our three day vacation here at Amanpulo. The management gave us their warmest welcome. Hindi ko mapigilangma-inlove sa hidden paradise na ito. I call it Hidden paradise dahil di ko inakala na may nag-e-exists palang lugar na tulad nito sa Pilipinas.

Marami pa akong hindi alam sa Turismo ng Pilipinas but one thing is for sure, hindi pahuhuli sa ibang bansa ang Likas na Yaman ng bansang minamahal ko.

The management treats us like some kind of a VIP. Palagi silang andyan sa mga needs namin at hindi ka matatakot sa media because they guaranteed our safety and respected our privacy..

I was applying my sunblock when I heard my phone rang. It was Warren..

At first I hesitated to answer the phone. The last time kasi that i answered and made a call to Ren, yung girlfriend niya nakasagot. So, iwas gulo na lamang ako ngayon. As far as I know, alam na ni Audrei that Warren and I had a past. Sana daw ay wag ako ang maging threat sa relasyon nila. I was toungue-tied. Ano ang sasabihin ko, kaya nga ako nagbalik to win Warren back but she asked me not to be a threat.

Kung ganoon pala ay, affected sila sa pagbabalik ko? And Audrei thought I was a threat? That's a good thing right? May laban ako..

My phone rang again.. And this time I answered it..

"Why are you not picking up your phone immediately??" Warren's irritated voice.

"I was just..uhm..quiet busy.." I slowly said

"Where the hell are you? The news said, they saw you riding a chopper."

That was true. gabi na sila nakarating ng Amanpulo kagabi dahil sa mga engagements niya sa press.

"Yes i did.."

"So where are you?"

"We're having our three days vacation here at Amanpulo."

"I see. Who's with you?"

"My P.A's and bodyguards.."

"you know, I can easliy get there." Warren

"No. I know what you're thinking!"

Did I said, Warren's Dad is the current President of the Republic of the Philippines? And anytime Warren wans, he can always come here at Amanpulo or wherever he wanted.

"Why?" Warren

I can feel Warren smiles halfly.

"You can't just get some chopper with pilot and just go here anytime you want. Baka sabihan ka na nagpapakasasa sa pwesto ng ama mo. You know how people think here especially the media men."

"Just admit it that you don't want me to go there."

"I'd love to. Pero I need some break naman. Hindi ako makakapag pahinga pag andito ka."

"And why is that..?"

"Because!!!!--"

Bago ko pa madugtungan ang sasabihin ko ay narinig ko ang mahinang komosyon sa kabilang linya. i heard a girl's voice and I bet my career that she was Audrei. Bigla rin naputol ang tawag.

I sighed. Ang drama namin ni Warren ay halintulad ng NO OTHER WOMAN or A SECRET AFFAIR, ang kaibahan lang, walang namamagitan sa amin ni Ren, nakaraan lang..

Naalala ko noong mga panahong kami pa ni Ren...

Flashbacks...

"What kind of girl you wanted to have a relationship Ren?"

I asked Ren habang andito kami sa Library. Third Year highschool na kami. We were having our research about our lesson in English and i found this book entitled - "What I want for a girl"

Ren looked at me. Kasama rin namin sina Seb, Vash with her fling and our senior Hiro.

"Paano niya masasabi eh hindi pa nagka girlfriend yan?" Kantyaw ni Vash kay Ren

We all laughed at dahil doon ay pinagalitan kami ng masungit na Librarian namin na si Ms. Alcansia.

"Lower down your voice guys." Seb

Seb was our Student Council Vice President kaya may right siyang sawayin kami.

"Bakit ikaw? Di pa rin nmana ah?" Balik ko kay Vash

"Wala nga pero may mga experiences na ako, pero yang si Totoy WALA!" Vash

Nakatanggap ng sapok si Vash kay Ren but after a couple of minutes eh tumayo si Vash.

"Where are you going? Di mo pa nga tapos ang research work mo." Ako kay Vash

"I got bored and I wanna have some fun at the back part of this Library with that chick." Tinuro ni Vash ang tinutukoy niya. She was the chearleading captain.

Sa pagkaka-alam ko ay one week ng ka fling ni Vash ang babaeng yun. I looked Vash with what-the-fuck-look. He just shrugged his shoulders at nag-umpisang sundan ang babae.

Napa-iling na lamang ako. At the age of 15, alam kong marami ng experience si vash when it comes to the *S thing. I wonder when did he lost his virginity.. Tss!

tumayo din si Hiro.

"At saan ka naman pupunta?" Ren

"I want to watch a full live show. Wanna come?" Hiro to Ren

"Gross! Excuse me! A minor here? i will surely tell Tita about this Hiro." Ako

Hiro is my childhood playmate. Magkakilala ang family namin. We used to be neighbors pero Hiro's family decided to move out when we were nine but it never been a hindrance para mapalapit kami sa isa't-isa.

"Shut up AA. I'm not that kid anymore who will be scared of what you will do. I'm a grown up men now and besides, hindi naman ako makikipag sex, manunuod lang ako ng so-called-porn, yun nga lang. Live." Hiro

Sumunod naman din si Seb. I gave him a questioning look. 

"I...am...I'll tell them to stop..Yes..!" Seb

"Are you kidding me? Go and have some fun!" Ako

Seriously? Seb is a student council VP pero siya rin ang isa sa mga myembro ng gumagawa ng katarantaduhan dito sa School namin. To think that this school is private! Pero kahit ano man gawin ng apat na ito, well I'm referring to Hiro, Vash, Seb and Ren ay tinitingala parin sila ng lahat. Girls are head over heels inlove with them lalo na kay Vash na napaka babaero. Walang babae ang hindi umiiyak sa kamandag ni Vash! Tsk!

I looked the man who is sitting right infront of me and was busy writing. Naramdaman niya ata na tinitingnan ko siya. he gave me a What-look and I give him What-You-Wanted-To-Watch-And-join-Them-Also?-Go!-I-dont-give-a-fuss-Look

"Whoa! Seriously? you think of me like that?"

"I never said anything." Ako

"But its the way you look at me. honey, as much as i wanted to join them ay hindi pwede dahil di kita pwedeng iwan dito at ayokong mabadtrip ka sakin."

Nag-umpisa na naman kaming magsulat dahil hinahabol namin ang oras dahil before the bell rings namin ipapasa ang work namin. Inako na lamang naming dalawa ang gagawin. Tapos na rin naman pala kasi ng mga lalaking iyon ang research work nila kaya nakuha ng magloko.

That's one thing i like about these boys na kahit numero uno sa lahat ng katarantaduhan ay di nila pinapabayaan ang pag-aaral nila. Seb maintains his rank. Vash kahit tamad ay mataas din ang grado, Hiro,asides from his busy acting+singing career finds time for his friends esp. school and Warren. Alam kong pressured siya dahil sa expectations ng tao sa kanya kaya naman todo kayod din siya.

As soon as we finished everything ay pinasa na namin sa naghihintay na teacher namin. We stayed at the library , hinihintay rin kasi yung tatlo.

"You asked me something kanina?" Ren

"Ah. forget about that." Ako

Busy ako sa kaka doodle ng biglang kinuha ng Ren ang notebook at ballpen ko.

"Ano ba?" Pagtataray ko sa kanya.

"I was talking here and you even not listened. Masakit yun Hon." Drama ni Ren

"Sige, ano ba yun?"

"That girl I wanted to have a relationship with-"

"Go on."

"Well I wanted my girl to be sweet, caring, innocent, kind hearted but at the same time mataray.."

"Pwede ba yun?"

"Yes. She's a living proof eh."

"So, may crush ka na? Do I know her?" Excited kong tanong

"Yes...And..uhm..Yes, you definitely know her."

"Well- uhm..go..on. Tell me more about her."

Medyo na dissapoint ako. Does it mean, Ren has someone na? Parang nagkaroon ng bikig ang lalamunan ko.

"Well, she wants to explore, and she loves travelling.Someone she's witty and she gets my humor with no sweat, she's open-minded and will speak about it, she doesn’t find talking to be necessary 100% of the time and she prefer to show what she feels through her actions. having an idea who she is?"

Umiling ako. Di naman kasi klaro ang sinasabi ni Ren

"She loves to eat butter and jelly sandwiches, she loves music and she can't stop her feet from tapping everytime she hears a song. She gives everyone a chance, and she isn’t prejudice. She won’t always take people’s words about other people, and she just  learns about them herself. I love her because she's curious about anything and everything. You now know her?"

Umiling ulit ako. "Is she my friend? Or our classmate?"

He smiled and continued "She loves picnics, and she would take a classic dance class with me just for fun. She values morals and she keeps on  understanding culture and society. She accepts all walks of life, and she can see their point of view. She's loud, she cries over a slappy chick-flick. She loves my endearment for her. Well she has no problems on getting dirty and she can walk barefoot with no problem at all. She prefers flats over heels, and wears loose t-shirts as often as dresses. She hates P.E because she's a slow runner and she hates to wear fitted shirts. Well, she's a chocolate sucker and oh, she love strawberries, a lot. She laughs out loud even on public places. She eats like a guy and she doesn't mind her figure at all. And she has lots of tons of embarrassing stories but she still keep on telling it with other people. ANd that's why I love her. That's why I love You AA."

After a minute of silence  All I did was to stare; no, I ogled at his perfect face. I put on my ridiculous smile and let out unappealing sounds as I laughed out loud. Seriously??

My brain was commanding my lips to at least utter a word but my facial muscles wouldn’t budge. I panicked. It was my laugh that responded from my brain’s command, which, as if with a mind of its own. I mentally scolded myself for reacting the way I did. I tried to make sense of what had happened and all the rush of emotions that I had never felt before.

Tumingin ako kay Warren. He looked down. Napahiya ko ata? I was starting to say a word when Vash said something.

"Finally! Inamin niya rin!" Vash

"Akala  ko nga aabutin pa tayo ng fourth year bago umamin yan." Hiro

"at least umamin din. natakot ata kay Alfie." Seb

Alfie was the current student council president at nanliligaw siya sa akin.

Tahimik pa rin kami ni Warren. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY!!!

"Oh..oh.. We ruined the atmosphere lads." Vash

"I think we better yet going." Hiro

Tumayo na silang tatlo at iniwan na naman kaming naka upo ni Ren. They patted Ren's back.

"So how did it go guys?" Ren

Is he referring about what that three dickhead did??

"She's lousy and boring. And too loud. Kelangan ko pang pasukan ng panyo bibig niya for her to suppress her moan." Vash

Hiro and Seb laughed maybe they remembered something. Tss! 

I looked at Ren again. "Are you serious?"

"I said I love you but you just laughed at me"

"if I say I love you too. Would you believe me then?"
